Jeffrey Whitridge is the Clinical Nutrition Educator at Mission Cancer Care in Asheville, North Carolina. Jeffrey has over 10 years of clinical experience in the field of oncology nutrition in terms of prevention, treatment, and survivorship.
Jeffrey is a speaker, a patient advocate – and an incurable lover of art. Jeffrey collects works of visual art, and passionately supports all manner of community-level artists and their creations. Jeffrey’s avocational arts appreciation and awareness makes him the ideal candidate to co-lead this unique arts-focused trip to Cuba.
Jeffrey has served as a registered dietitian/nutritionist for 20 years. He enjoys consulting with oncology survivors on prevention, treatment, and survivorship as it relates to overall health and wellness. Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He completed a Master’s of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport Connecticut.
Jeffrey loves living in Asheville. In his free time, he frequently visits the Appalachian Sustainable Agricultural Project tailgate markets for fresh, locally produced food. He enjoys cooking, travel, exercise, and eating whole foods.
