This is a signature overseas professional opportunity for BPS educators! In and near Dublin, we’ll hear from Irish experts in conflict resolution; forgiveness and reconciliation; peace, equity, and justice. We’ll explore how societies enter into and move beyond conflict, and we’ll learn what lessons this holds for our classrooms! We’ll examine techniques for avoiding war – and we’ll review peaceful non-violent approaches to oppression, civil disobedience, and conscientious objection.
